<p>The objective of this work was to reduce operating costs in the warehouse area of a Poultry Company using quality management tools. It began with the identified root causes, which were a lack of training in logistics management, insufficient capacity and storage order, lack of system maintenance, and a lack of inventory control indicators. The indicators for each cause were analyzed using statistical control and quality management tools. This proposal involved an investment of S/ 32,290.00. To reduce costs and improve productivity, QFD, FMEA, and DMAIC Six Sigma tools were applied. The results were favorable, and at the end of the improvement process, it was determined that the investment was worthwhile, as a cost reduction was observed. The initial loss was S/ 32,290.00 soles, and the improved loss was S/ 22,990.00 soles, resulting in a benefit of S/ 9,300.00 soles.</p>
