Abstract
Serious games are educational programs that allow you to develop skills and competencies with a combination of knowledge learning joined with entertainment. An example of this is Simultrain, a simulator focused on learning project management where different situations are proposed in which players must make decisions depending on their criteria, based on what they have learned in project management. The objective of this communication is to find a relationship between the different scenarios of SimulTrain and the IPMA competencies, for this purpose, content analysis is carried out using MAXQDA software., of the situations presented throughout the game and the associated positive decisions, finding 71 emerging categories evidenced in the 42 reports provided by SimulTrain corresponding to 4 academic semesters. Positive decisions from these emerging categories were ranked according to IPMA's key performance indicators of competencies. The final product of this research allows us to have a scale of conversion of the results of the positive decisions obtained by the SimulTrain and the performance indicators, which could be beneficial for those who wish to strengthen their training in projects in an interactive way.
