The objective of this work was to improve the quality indicators of the company Glück Dulces Detalles E.I.R.L. through quality management tools. It begins with a diagnosis of the company, where the identified causes were lack of machinery maintenance, additional costs due to unproductive worker times, overcosts due to poor inventory management, and loss of sales due to failing to meet short-term delivery times. The statistical behavior of the indicators was determined using statistical quality control tools, and improvement was achieved through quality management tools and methodologies such as Quality Houses, FMEA Matrix, and DMAIC Six Sigma. The results were favorable, showing an improvement in all indicators such as the Z-Score, and it was determined that the investment is viable. The economic results translate into an NPV of S/. 118,901.71, an IRR of 187.08%, and a payback period of 9 years. Quality management and process indicators of the company's production process were improved. The initial loss was S/. 112,452.00 soles, and the improved loss was S/. 72,748.30 soles, resulting in a benefit of S/. 39,703.70 soles.
